These boats are made of cardboard, plastic garbage bags and nearly six rolls of packing tape, but mostly they are made of these kids' desire to bring an idea to life. What greater adventure is there?These boats took a full day of work. They floated admirably at Oscar Scherer's pond for a good half hour before sogginess set in.
I have to say that I had very few roles in this project. I was the supplier of materials and transportation to the launch site. I'm so proud of these two boys. One is my son, the other may as well be my son. I love them both. Thanks guys for letting me join you in your boating adventure. What's next????
